Missouri S&T Mail Services, located 209 East 8th Street, Suite 150, uses a Pitney Bowes DM 1000 speed postage meter system to apply appropriate postage to outgoing mail for the campus. Staff are available from Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. - noon and 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please call 573-341-4448 for consultation if you have questions about appropriate postage rates for proposed mailings. We may be able to recommend less expensive alternatives. If you have late mail that needs to go out same day, please bring it to the mail room before 3:30 p.m. We make every effort to process all outgoing mail the day it is picked up.
Request for New Mail Cards
All outgoing mail requires a mail card for postage charges. This card includes department name, account name, mo code and people soft account number for postage. To order new cards or replacement cards contact printing services at 573-341-4264
Business Reply Mail
Business Reply Mail (BRM) is a service from the US Postal Service that allows you to send any number of reply pieces (envelopes, cards or self-mailers) and pay only for those that are returned to you. BRM is designed to be automated so delivery times are comparable to First Class mail. BRM is the most cost effective way to provide reply pieces for a wide variety of mailings, including fundraising solicitations, surveys, subscription renewals, etc.
IMPORTANT! If you are sending a bulk mailing at the automation rate (whether it's First Class or Non-Profit Standard), the Postal Service requires that enclosed reply pieces must be either Business Reply Mail or Courtesy Reply Mail. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in paying higher postage.
